It,s time for "another" main sail. I can't afford a custom Kern. I have been searching some of the sail websites, specifically Sail Warehouse and Minneys. They both offer new and used sails for good prices but none seem to match all three leech, luff, and foot dimensions. My question is this: How critical are the luff @ 38.4, leech @ 39 and foot@ 14.5 dimensions? How much difference is there from 7 oz to 8oz to 9oz, and full batten vs std batten.
