    Todd Duff has another good article in the new Good Old Boat magazine.  It's a generic article on selecting cruising boats, but he says really good things about our Westsail 32's.

    I enjoyed the article, as I did his previous one. I think it might have been better not to mention the Westsail 32 quite so many times as others might suspect him of being biased;)

    Not much you can do abour his bias, considering that in his profile at the end of the article it says he owns a W42.  I also know he has owned a number of W32's, including the one originally owned by George Bachman, the founder of the WOA..

    With all that Westsail ownership history, he is writing/speaking from a lot of experience, thus lending more credence (=my bias).

    Not related to Good Old Boat, but there is a nice centerfold of the Antares W32 in Sailing this month.

    And to think I used to read Sail just for the articles!!!  Bias or no bias, classic boats and their designs are always the standards others are held to.  Besides the classic designs always tune into a sailor's inner voice and give potential form to one's imagination and/or dreams.

    Well stated Douglas. The Westsail has as much emotional, as sailing, appeal to me.

    The centerfold is in "Sailing," the publication of the ASA, the one with all the boat reviews by Bob Perry. It really is in the center-suitable for framing, if you don't mind the staple holes.
