I've had multiple requests in - it's on their list -- but so are others things.

    Dick:
My comment on the protected space (you can see this within your non Admin account)  Go to your account then "My profile" then click on "Privacy"
If you look at the Photo album you will notice it is members only (this is ok with me) but it means you can not link to the photos in your album and have everyone see them, at least without those people logging in as members. This is also why you can not see members Photo's on postings, until you log in.

This is OK with me, but My original question was could we have a non-restricted space for linked photos?

I believe none of the settings under "Privacy" are changeable except by an administrator? and I am NOT asking to change anything there.

Also if you are log on as Administrator (Dick & Jay) none of the above is an issues as nothing is restricted (That is why they have Administrators) Dick this could be why you don't have any issues seeing photos:
and there is NO protected space from the point of view of an Administrator.

Jay please don't spend to much time on this, as it was mostly a question of how much we (WOA)  get dinged for file space, and how much we are nailed for traffic on the WOA ? if not much,  it would be great to have the photo space, else if it is allot then I would ask if we are getting a good deal on the web hosting.

Thanks you guys for all of your work,  I kind of hate asking for the photo space but I thought it might be a good thing in the long run+/-

In any case Please don't stress over this
    Norm

Norm:  I'll still recommend the Picasa or other photo sharing site. The Picasa is free for the first 1G - and Google can really get a lot of images in that space (becasue they offer resoulutaion reduction on upload) -- and $5 per year for 25 G's.

I think I sent you an email that has a link to a folder on the WOA Picasa site - you should be able to add photos to that album - then copy and paste the link into a forum topic. You will have to use their Picasa image software on your PC as that controls the uploads.

As far as charges to the WOA - we pay by the number of members and the disk space used - not the traffic.

As Admin - I don't see the image I posted from my own album on the site in the forum topic -- just a square - I can click on the image and see though - and I'm using as a admin.

Until WA changes their posting to forum rules/scope - using Picasa or equivelant service is the best way.

    Jay
