Thinking about converting my lowline cooling system to a to a bowman?

I have a Perkins 4.108 Low-Line out of the boat and ready for a rebuild. It has the header tank, exhaust manifold and heat exchanger on separate components. It also has a dual oil cooler attached via bracket to the starboard side of the engine block to cool off the engine and transmission oil.

So to save space I was thinking to convert to a 4.108 Bowman heat exchanger that combine the 3 components into one assy.

Is that a good idea? If you have done the conversion how did it go? Any issues refitting to the existing dual oil cooler?

    Thanks,

    Luis

It may sound great in cast iron, but take a look at what some swan guys were talking about for the AL version.

Hope this helps and Best of luck
