Round bronze hawse pipes

I know this is a long shot, but is anyone willing to sell some of the cast bronze hawse pipes?  Bud sold these as replacements for the old round spun brass ones, and he no longer has a source for new ones. I need at least two sets (or one set and an additional long half.)

    Hi there,

I am in the process of having a metal fabricator make spun naval brass hawse pipes to original specs.

The shop is pretty busy, they quoted me 6 weeks to 2 months turn around time (that was today, May 9th, 2011, about 20 minutes ago). They are going to make about 14 sets from one sheet of material. I need six, Bud wants a couple, I'll be selling the rest to recoup the expense of making the tool/extra hawsepipes.

I'll post again when I have the finished product ready to go.

Are there any left... and if so how much do they cost?

    Thanks,

I stopped by Hamilton Marine in Portland Maine this weekend. They had a pretty good selection of hawse pipes (including round bronze ones).

    Hope this helps.

Thanks.  I think we'll try to find something closer to home (BC, Canada), but if that proves difficult we might look into shipping.

Check with Arnie at Rekord Marine in Vancouver.  Part number RM 035.   They may still have some left, or possibly place another order for them.  That's where I last purchased them.  If they do decide to place another order, have them contact me as I will take some also.
