I am converting to a loose footed staysail and would like to by 2 genoa cars and 4' of T track for a reasonable price.

I think Bud has a kit for this, and his prices are pretty good.
My feelings on West Marine and some others, = pretty steep on the pricing for this stuff.

because the loads are light you could also look at used stuff but if you do all the work to install them why not make it all new for a few $$ more.

    just some thoughts.

Thanks Norm, you are correct Buds price for the gear is better than anything I have been able to find new.

However as someone from Scottish decent I am genetically predisposed to hunt for bargains and love to find good used gear, with that said I never buy from Worstmarine as they are just ripping people off.

Ronstan has a good traveler car and car 'stops' for not much $$.

Mine works well with our loose footed stay sail.

Garhauer might be another economical solution.

    Best, Tom

Thanks my fellow Westsailors for your input here, I have found a beautiful set of classic Merriman cars that will fit the look of our vessel..
