**Travel expenses to the Abacos, up to $2000, reimbursed if boat is purchased.

We have owned Seahorse since 2000 and are the 5th owners. She has had comparatively light use during her time with us, sailing offshore ten times from our home port in Charleston, SC to the Abacos, Bahamas where we’d spend a few months at a time, and from Charleston to Annapolis where we lived aboard for one year there. Boat has recently been relocated from Charleston to Man O War Cay in the Abacos where she will be moored year around. We currently spend six months a year living aboard and cruising the Abacos.

We’ve enjoyed cruising and taking care of her during our stewardship of Seahorse and it shows. The itemized systems list demonstrates the degree of time, energy, and expense we’ve given her over the last 18 years, but particularly in the past few years. There are relatively few 45 year-old sailboats that have been maintained to this level and are currently in turnkey cruising condition.

    Layout:

Going down the main companionway from the cockpit, the U-shaped dinette is to port and galley is starboard. Dinette table is adjustable and sole is raised a step, otherwise the rest of the cabin sole is all the same level. Fridge access is from top-lifting hatch and side door; freezer has two top-lifting hatches.

Forward of the galley on the starboard side is the main cabin settee that converts to a double bed. Across from the settee is the navigation station and large chest of drawers.

Moving toward the bow is the forward head with a hanging locker and cabinets.

Forward are large port and starboard sail/storage lockers, and then two anchor chain lockers behind a bulkhead with two access doors.

Moving aft from the galley is the passageway to the master stateroom and second head. Double-door access to the engine room is on the right and “garage” storage on the left.

Master stateroom has a hanging locker and dresser on the left and door to the second head around the mizzen mast on the port side. Separate berths can be made into a king-sized bed with middle triangle insert. Aft head has a shower and two storage lockers, as well as a second access door to the engine room.
