Hi everyone I'm at the beginning over here in the U.K at putting a sailing project together to raise awareness for mental health, here's my web site. www.sailingforaclearmind.co.uk .

If anyone has any ideas of sponsorship or anything please let us know. Once I have secured the funds then Ill be looking for a 32 that will be up for such a voyage. If anyone knows of anyone selling a boat that would suit and is nt in a rush for the sail then do let them know of my position.

I still have nt met a Westsail 32 so cant wait for when the time comes.     great Christmas to you all ,    Jacob

Yes I do mean the whiskey co . Years ago they sponsored a square rigged tall ship to sail  different legs of a journey,  although I don't think it was all the way around the world . One of the legs was the South China Sea . They also held a contest , and if you won you could sail on one of the legs . I think I got the facts right on that . Have a Merry Christmas. Mark .

Thanks Mark do you think a westsail 28 would cope with a nonstop circumnavigation via the southern ocean.

Jacob I love your spirit ! Many beers ago I met the man that designed the Westsail 28 ,his name is Herb David , among a lot of things he told me , one was that he designed the Westsail 28 for two people to sail around the world .  I say, life is short follow your thoughts. Mark .

How about Cliff Bar? Its an adventure oriented company with a social conscience. I believe they have recently stopped sponsoring extreme sport type endevours due to too much risk. Perhaps if you could convince them this is a safe, well planned journey they would be interested.

    Here is thier foundation...
