Cape Horn Windvane installation tips and pics needed

    Several members, having participated in the most recent group buy of Cape Horn Windvanes, would be very appreciative of any helpful installation tips, techniques, and pictures for the "Toucana" windvane. It appears to be pretty straight forward, but two heads are better than one. There are some pretty clever sailors out there, and it would be great to get some of your hard earned knowledge.     Bud, why not post them for all to see? While my CapeHorn hasn't arrived yet, I still can use all the info I can get.

    Bud sent me 9 images and all nine are in the Members Area Westsail Stearing images.

    Members have an page with a slide show called Westsail steering gear that has a lot of images -- I think some are of the Cape Horn -- and of course I'd like more as you install your windvane.   If you click on the slide show you are taken to the Picasa page where you can enlarge the image and review.
