SF bay area Westsail32 guru needed

    Hello Bud

    I am a new owner of a Westsail 32.    I need some help with fixing up the boat and just understanding how to sail her in the best way.     The boat is in pretty good shape but needs a good check out and tune up.    Can you recommend a person or persons who are local to the bay area who have good knowledge in all things Westsail?    I am located in Emeryville/Oakland area.   All help appreciated!

    Terry,

    There are lots of great Westsail owners in the Bay Area, so I am sure one or more of them will contact you.  I am in So Cal, but am available by email to answer most any questions you might have.

    I try to keep track of the 1100 or so Westsail fleet, so I would appreciate knowing which W32 you purchased.  i probably have it on my list under the previous owner.  Please send an email to bud@westsail.com and let me know.

    Ahoy Terry! Welcome aboard the Westsail family! Happy to connect you with a bunch of the local Bay Area Westsail sailors. Unfortunately we just cancelled the annual SF Bay Rendezvous that we have every year here the first weekend of Oct. That would have been a great way to meet the fleet. With all the C19 madness I’m not sure when I’d be able to meet in person but happy to chat and hear about your new boat etc. Share some pixs here with the group. Odds are we may know your boat etc. I’ve had Tortuga for 22 years now so have done just about every Westsail project there is and happy to offer any solicited or unsolicited advice   :)   I’m located in Pier 39 in SF.
