    Final Passage: s/v West Wind

The following information on the passing of Luman “Lu” Moody was published on page 40, in the March 2021 edition of the Seven Seas Cruising Association Cruisers’ Bulletin, attached. His brother Connor asked that we pass the word along to the WOA.

“I regret to report that my brother, Luman Moody, died recently.  I know the sailing community is tight, which is why I wrote.   At the time of his death, “Lu” was living on a Westsail 28 in LA harbor, specifically at the Pacific Yacht Landing in Wilmington, and had been making plans to head out across the Pacific.  Lu was an old salt, sailing across the Pacific in the 60s and the Atlantic in the 70s.”  Conner Bailey
