    Hey Brian,

I am sure am glad you didn't get your Westsail bug until after I bought Jack's Sea Dreamer II.

It's been almost 4 years now and I am happy as a pig in a poke, I've been living aboard ever since, making full use of it. Your grandfather did a great job on his kit-build and other than a few updates, it has needed nothing serious. When Bud stayed on board during the rondie last summer he commented on how much my W32 (she's called Drømmen now) looked like it just stepped out of the showroom.

The name is Norwegian, as both the boat and I are based on a Norwegian design. It means "The Dream", partially as an homage to Sea Dreamer II, a name I would've kept but it was already spoken for here in Canada.

    Good luck with the project!

    Stephen Wylie

    Thanks Stephen,

I'm glad to hear she has found such a great home, Grandpa always speaks very highly of you when we talk about the boats. I like the new name, it fits her for sure. I am really glad that you are enjoying her so much, she deserves to be used and enjoyed.

Maybe one of the times I'm up in the Pac NW visiting during the warm months we can get together for a beer, it'd be great to meet you and to get to see the old girl again.
