The company that has made tillers for all of the factory boats since the mid 1960's, H & L Marine, has gone out of business.  I was able to acquire the last five that they had for the W32..  Once these are gone, who knows where we will be able to find a new source for them.  Unfortunately, they did not have any for the W28.

These are the laminated ash and mahogany ones, and finished off with varnish.  I have five left, and I will sell at the regular price that I have had since 2011.

Contact me by email if you want one of these.  Remember, you snooze, you looze.

All six tillers have been sold.  If anyone has had a tiller made by a source different than mine, H & L Marine,  I would appreciate hearing who it was.  Need to find another source.

I did find another source for the tillers.  This company has been making rudders and tillers for many years.  I will be ordering some from them soon.  The cost is slightl more, by about $25.00.

By the way Bud, your tiller on Glorious has received many "that's a good looking tiller" comments.  As beautiful as Glorious  is, the tiller they notice.  Sold em all out - not surprised.

The tillers from my new fabricator are just as beautiful and well made as from my former fabricator, and they drop ship them from their factory direct, so there is less handling for me, and better packaging to prevent damage in shipment.

    Hi Bud,

What is the total price (not including shipping) for the new tillers?

I will send you an email about the tillers.  I am having some made right now.

Bud, I might be interested in one as well.  The two that came with my boat are solid, not laminated, and I thought they were teak, but they don't take the SEMCO treatment like the teak does.  Mahogany perhaps?   What would be the shipping to Florida (32940)?  -Tom Koehl
