Dear Bud: I had to remove the old teak bowsprit platform as it was soaked in windlass oil and mostly rotten. It was originally a series of stacked pieces of teak. In your manual it describes the importance of this piece and the bowsprit not moving "at all" but there is no design or upgrade for this piece. Do you have a spec that shows the size and angle of this piece or is it just a wedge at the angle of adjustment?. I am keeping the Fir bowsprit as it is in prime condition. Sincerely Alan Johnson
