Bud, I met a gentleman today who has what he claims is a westsail 36. She is a sweet boat with similar lines to the rest of the fleet. He indicated that the molds were made late in the days of the company and only a few hulls were laminated.

He may be thinking of the Westsail 39, of which only a few were built by Westsail before they declared the first bankruptcy.  However the 39 does not look anything like the 32.

I know Westsail did not build a 36.  There was a 34 hull only that was built along the same lines of the Kendall 32, and called a Windjammer 34.  It was not built by Westsail, but was started by one of the original employees from the Kendall days.  He eventually sold the hull mold after he laminated a few hulls, and another company built a molded deck for the boat, and sold a few more boats.  I have the brochures of the Windjammer 34, if he wants to contact me.
