(Christie) has been a great surprise to me and all who have been aboard or seen her sailing. This is not a lightweight boat, she has a 4-236 Perkins, 7.5 kw generator, 2 air conditioners, all electric aglley (stove, oven, refrigeratio), 200 ghallons fuel, 200 gallons water, 6 batteries, VHF and SSB radios, loran, and RDF,m estimate total weight isn excess of 34,000 lbs. We have sailed in winds as high as 47 knots on a broad reach with main furled and still made 8.25-8.5 knots. W.B - WS42 Christie #22
